Summer 2008

Ok, ok, I know, it has been forever since I updated this thing. So, here I go. I will try to give a brief summary of our summer so far. ( I can't believe it's almost over already!!) For the most part we have been pretty laid back this summer. Kind of a nice change of pace but Mom is ready for school to start.

Travis started working the 7-4 shift which has been awesome!! The kids have really loved having Daddy home at dinner and bedtime. It has been nice for me too!

A couple of weeks ago we bought a family swimming pass to the local pool. The kids are absolutely loving it, since it has been too hot to really play outside much.

We spent July 4th at Grandma and Grandpa Rushton's so Daddy could help Grandpa put in a sprinkler system. And we spent Pioneer Day at Grandma and Grandpa Ferris'. The kids has a fun time in the little swimming pool, especially Austin. (Pics to follow.)

We took the kids camping overnight in June which was quite the adventure. Let's just say it rained all night and there was lots of mud in the morning. I think we have some pics of that too. I also decided that camping and being pregnant aren't exactly a great combo. All in all we did have fun.

Most recently was Austin's birthday. I can't believe he is two already, and boy is he two. The terrible twos have hit in full force at our house. I would write about all the trouble he has made but that would take all day. I think I will leave that for another post.

Well, with summer coming to an end Tyler and Kaylee are gearing up for school. Tyler will be in 2nd grade and Kaylee is going to Kindergarten. She is soooo excited. We are also starting the baby countdown. As of today I have 7 and 1/2 weeks left until baby time. Wow that seems soon. Travis and Tyler are also looking forward to the beginning of BYU football.

That's all for now. I do have pics to post but don't have time right now. I will try to be better at posting, but with school starting and baby coming I won't make any promises. :) Love to all!!
